Alin Cotuț

Alin Cotuț started playing Counter-Strike when he was 14 and never really stopped. He's 26 now, with 2,000+ hours across CS:GO and CS2, plus plenty more in CS 1.6 and Source. He got into case opening and skin gambling the same way most players do: chasing a knife skin. That led to years of comparing sites, tracking promo codes, and doing the bonus math to squeeze value out of every offer he could find. CaseLab started as his personal spreadsheet, and turned into a platform because the data was useful to more people than just him.

Outside of CaseLab, Alin works as an iGaming SEO writer. He's written commissioned reviews and content for brands like 1win and NV, and for major international casinos. He's seen how rankings get made, how content gets paid for, and how little of it is written with the player in mind. That's where the frustration came from, and why CaseLab does things differently.

He knows how the industry markets to players because he's been on the other side of it too. CaseLab exists because he got tired of writing content that served casinos and wanted to build something that serves players instead.
